We have a drill and living history scheduled for Saturday January 9, and Sunday January 10, 2010 at Mansfield State Historic Site, 15149 Highway 175, Mansfield, LA 71052 phone at site 318-872-1474 or 888-677-6267 toll free. We have done this in the past, and we have had a great time, thereby improving our drill. Members can arrive at Mansfield State Historic Site in the afternoon or evening on Friday January 8, 2009, to setup the camp. Also bring your hay and feed for your horse, and plan appropriately for your meals. There are period correct winter quarters on site which we will be allowed to use. As in the past the living History demonstrations will probable be in the AM and PM on Saturday, and then late AM Sunday.
We will be having a company meeting on Saturday evening January 9, 2010 to finalize our event schedule for 2010. If any of you have any events that you would like to include, bring the information, and the unit can discuss same.
